Leenane is a very active Village with a vibrant school, a busy development association and various committees for the festivals and events held throughout the year. There are many clubs and associations based in and around the Village as well as an active local social scene.

Leenane is served by St Michael's Roman Catholic church within the village. More info from the parish newsletter can be found on this website. There is also the Church of Ireland St John the Baptist, Aasleagh, a short distance outside the village. READ MORE
