A FREE sunset walk at Connemara National Park
Meet at Connemara National Park Visitors Centre Letterfrack 8.30pm, No transport provided
The walk will include an introduction to Connemara National Park and it's wildlife, especially it's nocturnal wildlife - using detectors for bats and setting up moth traps. It will also look at light pollution, dark skies and using a telescope to stargaze.
This magical and educational walk has strictly limited numbers and must be booked online.
Important points to note:
Event is weather permitting, appropriate footwear/clothing for those in attendance, attendees must have head torch. Hand held torch or light on mobile phone will NOT suffice
